This conversion has been done successfully on both the 1.6L and 1.8L. It allows the car to run up to 4psi of boost using the standard computer and standard injectors. Greatly improves power and torque yet still retains everyday drivability. The air conditioning system is retained. The conversion consists of:

- Custom Exhaust Manifold made from heavy duty steam pipe sections and using a 10mm flange.

- All piping ceramic or Teflon coated.

- New custom designed and built intercooler using a PWR core and custom end tanks.

- Plumb back blow of valve.

- Rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

- All silicone hoses.

- We can custom make the kit to suit your requirements as we have with this car including custom large intercooler, custom air box with twin filters and bonnet vents. This car now runs a modified standard computer, larger injectors, and now runs 7psi on standard internals.
